After a storied career in the "collections" business, I decided a few yrs back to reenter
the gaming racket, er, the handicapping consulting business. This year is looking strong, all those so-called "sportswriters"
blab constantly about 'parity' in college football. I see it in the lower tier leagues(MAC, Sun Belt, CUSA), but the
BCS conferences will always have some that break away from the pack, both good & bad ATS. And a team's record doesn't
necessarily mean they always cover games, and vice versa... 2005 Examples:
Texas,
13-0 straight up, 11-2 ATS Duke, 1-10 straight up, 2-8 ATS Alabama, 10-2 straight up, 4-8 ATS Arizona, 3-8
overall, 7-3 ATS So, as you can see, look for a teams who can hang in there, not necessarily just win.
That is the biggest mistake players of games make on a weekly basis. The #2 mistake is trying to play all the BIG games...
Yes, I enjoy seeing the teams I play in action on television, or "TV", but you're limiting your available
plays. And the lesser conferences are more predictable and the bookmakers are not as accurate on their spreads. Gems are buried,
it's up to you to dig them up, and we're here to help...
I've hit a respectable 65.5% of my picks since 1998!!!
Check out my picks from 1998 - 2005.... If I could remember
anything before '98 it would be here, but.....
